IDYLIC SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY COTTAGE IN THE LAKE DISTRICT
Low Parkamoor,
Nibthwaite, Cumbria, UK
Parkamoor is an off-grid farmhouse available to you all year round.
It is the perfect retreat from modern living and a total eco experience. It offers stunning views over Coniston Water and the Old Man in a remarkable and rare location.
It is eco living all the way with no mains services. The house is served by a traditional Lakeland composting toilet, pure fell water straight from the well, with cooking and hot water provided by the restored Georgian wood-burning range.
Living at Low Parkamoor is a unique experience. It takes care and consideration but the rewards of the simple pleasure of sitting by the fire or cooking on the range make it a treasured experience.
Parkamoor was recently restored by Grizedale Arts (www.grizedale.org) in collaboration with its owners, the National Trust to provide a unique and memorable retreat.
